As 2013 came to a close we remembered all the great moments that happened throughout the year. We saw many new businesses come into Addison and the North Dallas Corridor as the area continues to grow. Yes we saw some great new businesses open in 2013, but 2014 proves that it could be even better! With tons of new businesses planning to open this year, we look at 14 new businesses to look for in 2014:

Citydog! Club – Opening March/April 2014

Vitruvian Park will have its very own Citydog! Club opening in March or April later this year (an exact date has not been set). Citydog! Club is a national dog daycare service that will watch your pooch all day with experienced trainers in an environment that will have your pup howling for joy!

Chuy's – Opening Early 2014

Chuy's, the ever popular Tex Mex restaurant, got its start in Austin back in 1982 and has grown in popularity for its delicious food and delicious margaritas. Ground has already been broken on the location at 4440 Belt Line Rd. An exact date has not yet been set, but it is expected to be early this year.

AT&T – Opening February 2014

Village on the Parkway certainly began a revival and renovation back in 2013. Landing Whole Foods Addison was the start of something great as more new businesses pile in. AT&T is set to open (right on the back side of Whole Foods) at the corner of Belt Line and the Tollway in February.

Neighborhood Services Tavern – Opening March 2014

Neighborhood Services Tavern, the extremely popular and successful Dallas restaurant, is set to open its second location in Village on the Parkway. The restaurant is always held in high regard with amazing food choices like its Alabama Dry-Aged Burger, Caramelized Sea Scallops and Wisconsin Veal Shoulder Schnitzel to name a few. We're ready to welcome them to the neighborhood!

Boardroom Salon – Opening March 2014

The Boardroom Salon is a very upscale men's salon that feels more like a 1920s country club than your typical barbershop. Another one of our new businesses that is opening in Village on the Parkway in March, the Boardroom offers exceptional haircuts, hot lather shaves, facials, massages, coloring, hand grooming, foot grooming, face and body waxing for men.

Pluckers – Opening April 2014

Pluckers began serving their famous chicken wings back in 1995 in Austin and since then, the restaurant has grown into a national phenomenon. Opening in Village on the Parkway in April, USA Today has named Pluckers one of the top 10 sports bars in the country, even ESPN named it as one of the top five.

Belk – Opening April 2014

Belk prepares to open its first flagship location in Texas at Galleria Dallas in April this year. Recently the company released plans on the new location's architecture. Belk will offer clothing options for men, women and children and has grown across the United States. The motto of the store: "This is where southern style lives."

Pollo Tropical – Opening April 2014

Fiesta Restaurant Group recently moved its corporate headquarters to Addison. The group has seen most of its success from its Taco Cabana stores, but they also own and operate Pollo Tropical. Normally a convenience restaurant like this one usually wouldn't catch our attention, but the Caribbean inspired restaurant has more than 100 locations in Florida, Tennessee and Georgia as well as 30 international locations and the Pollo Tropical opening at 5290 Belt Line will be the company's first location in Texas. What better place to show Texas a new restaurant than being in Addison and the North Dallas Corridor?

Hopdoddy – Opening April 2014

Hopdoddy was "created to express the perfect union of burgers and beer" and will be open to the public in April in Village on the Parkway. This will be the restaurant's second Dallas location and fifth in the country. Hopdoddy prides itself on having an extensive beer selection and delicious burgers made with the best ingredients including hormone and antibiotic free black angus meat, buns made from scratch and fries cut right at the restaurant.

Mattison Avenue Salon Suites – Opening May 2014

Mattison Avenue Salon Suites is an upscale salon and spa opening in Village on the Parkway in May this year. The unique aspect of Mattison Avenue is that they will lease out suites to hair stylists, massage therapists, nail specialties, estheticians and more. Each suite is furnished with top of the line equipment and all utilities are paid for in the lease (except phone). This will be the fourth Mattison Avenue Salon Suites in North Texas with other locations in Plano, Frisco and Allen.

AMC Theater – Opening July 2014

If you have seen the large construction project in the back of Village on the Parkway, you will see that there is something going up near the parking garage. The answer is the new AMC Theater that is set to open in July. The luxury theatreer will provided expanded food and beverage services as well as upgraded seating. The theater has said it expects to revolutionize the movie-going experience.

RA Sushi – Opening August 2014

Village on the Parkway will receive its very own RA Sushi in August later this year. The RA Sushi website describes the restaurant as "lively music, a vibrant crowd, inventive cocktails and the best sushi this side of Tokyo." This will be the second North Texas location for RA Sushi and fourth in Texas.

Yard House – Opening September 2014

Yard House opened its first location in 1996 in Long Beach and since then has been a huge hit. The sports bar and grill prides itself in offering a huge selection of craft beer and playing a healthy dose of rock and roll music. Each Yard House features a bar in the center of the restaurant and the website describes that "guests can sip their favorite draft beer from the popular half-yard, traditional pint or six pack sampler."

Buckle – Opening 2014

Galleria Dallas isn't just seeing the new Belk store opening in 2014. Although an exact date has not yet been set, Buckle will be opening a location in the Galleria in 2014. Buckle is a popular mens, womens and kids clothing store that offers "a wide selection of brand names and private label casual apparel, including denims, other casual bottoms, tops, sportswear, outerwear, accessories and footwear," according to the company's website.
