Citydog! Club Hosts Second Annual Halloween charity event benefiting NKLA

Renee Simlak Productions kicked off Halloween with cohost Citydog! Club the, 2nd Annual Halloween Dog Charity Event benefiting NKLA.

The celebration took place at the lavish Citydog! Club the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The spooky charity bash also hosted a best costume contest with a grand prize for dogs and humans, a "Haunted Play Park" for attendees' four legged friends, a puppy kissing booth sponsored by Wags and Walks Rescue, a Halloween photo shoot courtesy of a + b photography, complimentary Halloween treats and drinks for everyone, as well as a fabulous silent auction.

Hosted by the evening's sponsors was a special dog "Trick or Treat" area which includes a complimentary "pawdicure" with Halloween theme colors and the "Haunted Play Park" with its fun activities such as "Bobbing for Biscuits."

To top off the exciting occasion, Wags and Walks also sponsored a kissing booth with rescues looking for loving homes.

"This event is a must for everyone that has a dog and loves dogs," Renee Simlak said.  "Guests will enjoy complimentary meet and greets with Citydog! Club's exceptional and friendly team all while generating awareness for an amazing cause."

Guests were also able to enjoy Halloween goodies and muttalicious treats for their furry friends, gift bags, a hosted ghoulish punch and "pooch" bowl provided Citydog! Club, and holiday theme cupcakes courtesy of SusieCakes.  French cuisine was also provided by La Frite Express food truck.
